Her love would turn any dish she’d cook into the most delicious and unforgettable food I’ve ever had. Every meal was a love story.

(Now I cook for her, and she’s the toughest person at my tables: she will always find something slightly wrong. And after all, aren’t we Italians all like that? Me, especially. Ask my husband).

Grow your own food, or shop at your local farmer’s market. Eat seasonal produce. Take care of yourself and the ones you love with healthy meals.

Seriously, don’t eat crap. Make sure that everything you eat has real ingredients in it. You are what you eat.
